I decided to free up space on my hard drive and sort through pictures.

I had forgotten about this one.

We took my mom to Coast Guard Pier in February. My beloved took her arm to walk ahead as I fussed with the lens cap on my camera. I looked up and snapped this picture. It isn’t a very remarkable picture. The composition is flat. The angle is limited. The lines and curves are rather dull.

But I love it. As I love them. The two most important people in my life walking together –their feet raising in singular step. In sync.
