I finally finished the annual Park Street Cat Calendar. If you follow my blogs, you know that I have a tendency for odd rituals. The ritual for the calendars it to listen to Neil Sedaka’s Calendar Girl.
This year it was difficult making the calendar. I had spent much of the spring photographing Timothy Raisin, Jr., a large black and white momma’s boy, as the poster boy along with Elvis, the honey colored tom. But in mid summer, dear Timothy Raisin died suddenly from complications from anesthesia during dental surgery. It was sudden and devastating. But soon, a mother and son, Rebecca and Timothy Raisin III came into the picture. They needed a family, and Uncle Elvis reluctantly agreed that they were o.k. I began to take pictures on the day they arrived. Here are a few of my favorites:
